
RoboRoarZ Singapore 2025
RoboRoarZ Singapore 2025, co-organized by SUTD, the National Robotics Programme, IEEE Singapore Section, and IEEE Women in Engineering Singapore, brought together some of the brightest minds in robotics for a two-day competition focused on transformer robots for food automation.
Sponsored by Mapletree, The James Dyson Foundation, and Wefaa Robotics, the event challenged participating teams to design and build reconfigurable robots capable of adapting to diverse tasks across food automation scenarios. From creative mechanical transformations to intelligent control systems, the competition highlighted innovation, agility, and problem-solving at its finest.
The challenge not only tested technical proficiency but also encouraged teamwork, ingenuity, and a vision for the future of robotics in the food industry. Spectators witnessed remarkable demonstrations of engineering excellence as teams competed for the title of the Best Transformer Robot in Food Automation.
